Owner of Scoops Bay Area
I was introduced to lacrosse just five years ago by friends who had grown up playing the game. Their passion for the sport was so infectious that I couldn't help but dive right in! Through these friends, I had the privilege of meeting Coach Matt, the founder of Scoops, and I immediately knew I had to help bring the program to the West Coast. Watching Matt take his own struggles as a father and transform them into something that has positively impacted thousands of kids was incredibly inspiring. Scoops is not just about the game itself; it's about creating an environment where kids can learn the fundamentals of lacrosse while having fun, laughing, dancing, and growing into better people.
I truly believe that the experience kids have in sports should be filled with joy and personal development, not the pressure of intense competition. Trust me—there's plenty of time for that later in life. At Scoops, our mission is simple: we want kids to leave every session laughing, learning, and loving the game. Bringing Scoops to the Bay Area is my way of helping kids fall in love with lacrosse and teaching them that it's not just about winning or losing, but about building character, teamwork, and lifelong memories.
